Margaret, a visionary entrepreneur and passionate advocate for digital well-being, is the creative force behind Forget Me Knit, a groundbreaking reminder band designed to help people limit their cell phone usage and reclaim control over their lives. Raised in the small town of Sonoma, CA, Margaret has always possessed a knack for creativity and a keen interest in human psychology.

With a background in the wine business and an understanding of the impact of technology on society, Margaret embarked on a journey to address the growing issue of excessive smartphone dependency. Drawing inspiration from the realization that all the controls to help combat dependency are inside the phone — you have to pick it up and look at it to be reminded not to look at it — she set out to create a tangible solution outside the phone. 

The result is Forget Me Knit, an adjustable cotton-knit band that slips around any phone. It’s a visual, tactile reminder to think outside the phone, look up and see our world.
